Cascade - knives look more like square parts. They are installed several pieces in a row in the form of a ladder, so that each next blade is one step behind the previous one. With a large number of knives, they are placed ascending to the middle and descending from it. Most often they are sharpened on both sides allowing to save on spare parts. Each of the parts is attached separately to the rotor with their own fasteners, so it is enough to disassemble and turn them over. Arrangement in this order allows you to capture a large volume of recyclable plastic while gently acting on it. Even at high rotational speeds, material will gradually break down depending on the order of the cutters installed.
V-type - consists of two short blades set in a V-shape. This shape allows you to grab film materials or solid thin-walled plastic containers, acting on them like scissors. Smoothly cuts the raw material so that it does not bounce off even at high rotor speed. The number of knives is usually limited to 6 pieces, placed in 3 rows (2 knives placed in a V-shaped manner per row). The total number of cutting parts in the crusher can be even more, stationary blades are installed inside the body.
A bevel cut is a one-piece cutter with a slight slope. It has the same advantage as the previous blade shape - it provides smooth cutting, like scissors. Mainly works with soft polymers - films, bagging, big bags. Another variation of this form is the spaced oblique cut - already two knives on the same line are located at the same tilt angle. One goes a little further than the other. The total number of knives varies from 5 to 10 pieces.
